Dr. Muthugounder Ramasami, Founder and Chairman of Rasi Seeds (P) Ltd., Under his leadership, Rasi Seeds (P) Ltd., flourished as a successful indigenous seed company amidst tough competitions from multi-national seed companies. Dr. M. Ramasami is a graduate in Agriculture from Tamil Nadu Agriculture University and hails from an agricultural family with roots in Attur, Tamil Nadu.

Rasi Seeds (P) Ltd. is now a 50-year-old company working with multiple crops with the purpose of bettering the lives of farmers through quality seeds & services. His contribution to the farming community has been well recognized and he is bestowed with many accolades & awards.

Dr. Ramasami is actively involved in various Seed Association activities and working closely with multiple stakeholders for food, fodder and fiber security of the nation.
